Collection
It takes over 100 steps and about a month to make a stingray leather wallet.
It is made with outstanding craftsmanship.

Strong edge made of multiple layers
By repeatedly painting, drying and hand polishing, the edge is finished to be beautiful and durable.

Patented, beautifully and durable hand-sewn
What is the difference between machine sewing and hand sewing? Why do we insist on hand sewing?

Meticulous hand polishing to create a glossy and smooth finish
By repeatedly and meticulously polishing the product by hand, we achieve a lustrous, beautiful shine that is unlike any other.

Yoshiyuki Awajitani
Stingray leather is beautiful, durable and has been loved in Japan since ancient times. These are items that I have worked hard to craft using historic leather with techniques that only I can master. It takes time because there is a strong attention to detail, but I finish each piece carefully. I would be happy if I can create something that will impress everyone.

Crafts that combine tradition and technology
A collaborative work with a traditional craftsman of Edo woodblock prints. Woodblock prints printed by hand one by one on very strong Japanese paper called Echizen Kizuki Hosho. A gem of a product, where the print and leather are pasted together using a special technique and sewn with ray leather.
