History

  • 1989 – Yoshiyuki Awajitani is born in Osaka. I had many opportunities to come into contact with art, and by the time I could remember, I had loved matching colors and making things.
  • 1997 – Found a teacher at the age of 8 and started making things in earnest (creating artificial bait).
  • 2007 – Self-taught sewing at the age of 18.
  • 2008 – At the age of 19, during his creative activities, he was drawn to the charm of stingray leather from the shark torso of Kendo, and began his own research and technology development.
  • 2010 – Founded “Lunarossa Y’ ppi” at the age of 21.
  • 2014 – Kintetsu Abeno Harukas exhibits at a department store for the first time with its grand opening.
  • 2015 – Permanently installed at Hankyu Umeda Main Store’s watch store.
  • 2016 – First exhibition at Nihonbashi Takashimaya, first exhibition at Tamagawa Takashimaya, first exhibition at Osaka Takashimaya. Produced the Fukui Youkasa “Garusha Umbrella Strap".
  • 2017 – First exhibition at Shinjuku Takashimaya, first exhibition at Kawanishi Hankyu.

  • 2020 – Filed a patent for stingray leather sewing technology (patent application 2020-7777). Introduced Einokingoshirae, which is made of stingray leather with pure gold leaf.

  • 2022 – First exhibition at Iyotetsu Takashimaya. First exhibition at Fujisaki Department Store.
